Job Summary:
This role involves providing financial support to the project manager. The incumbent ensures that the procurement of goods and logistics aligns with financial and procurement policies, maintaining strict compliance with the organization's and donor's rules, regulations, policies, and strategies. Furthermore, the responsibilities encompass budget forecasting, management of bank and cash books, maintaining financial recording/reporting systems, internal control, financial oversight at the provincial level, and handling inquiries from non-finance staff at the field office. Additionally, the role involves assisting with travel arrangements, venue bookings for conferences and events, and regular visits to the BARAN main office for financial reconciliation and report submission.
Job Requirements:
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree or a similar diploma from an institution in Afghanistan.
- A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in field operations within a relevant domain.
- Demonstrated proficiency in communication and leadership.
- Fluency in English, Pashto, and Dari, with exceptional speaking and writing skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, encompassing word processing, spreadsheet design, and presentations.
