Details

- Gathering samples of food and water following applicable protocols.

- Performing toxicology assessments on food and water samples using laboratory procedures.

- Assessing and ensuring the quality of food and water in line with international standards and laboratory protocols.

- Correlating samples with pertinent documentation and packaging them in compliance with sampling requirements.

- Exploring, acquiring, and adapting novel techniques and technologies for analysis, adhering to international standards for food and water toxicology evaluations.

- Documenting sample analysis findings in the registration log and arranging analysis certificates.

- Contributing to the development and organization of operational standard procedures and technical guidelines for laboratory examinations.

- Engaging in the development and revision of training programs related to food and water quality control.

- Adhering to proper maintenance and care practices for laboratory equipment.

- Performing timely calibrations of laboratory apparatus.

- Ensuring the appropriate upkeep of laboratory records while maintaining their confidentiality.

- Cleaning laboratory tools and equipment.

 

Qualifications:

- Employment criteria (educational background and work experience): The minimum prerequisites for this position are outlined in Articles (7), (8), and (34) of the Civil Service Employees Law.

- Educational background: Candidates with at least a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or one of the fields of Food Technology and Agriculture (Food Technology) are preferred for those with higher academic degrees. Furthermore, individuals with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and three years of relevant work experience meet the qualifications.

- Work experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience for this role.

- Necessary skills: Proficiency in the official languages of the country (Dari and Pashto), a grasp of English, and computer proficiency in software related to the job, as well as managerial abilities.
